Fitting Your Bike

To properly fit a bike:

Stand over the top tube with your feet flat on the ground.
Lift the wheel. You should be able to lift it 2.5 to 5 centimeters off the ground.
Sit on the saddle. You should be able to touch the ground with the balls of your feet.
While you are seated and your feet are on the pedals, the leg in the down position should be bent slightly at the knee.
